Privacy Policy
This policy explains which data this website processes. The website operator is based in Switzerland; where applicable, visitors from the EU are also considered.
Operator details are maintained on the imprint page — see [OWNER NAME] / [CONTACT EMAIL].
1. Website Logs
Our hosting infrastructure may create technical server logs when this website is accessed. Such logs can include the requested page, the time of the request, the referring page and browser information. They are used to operate and secure the website.
2. IP Addresses
If IP addresses are stored in technical logs, they are only used for operating, securing and troubleshooting the website, and are not used to build visitor profiles.
3. Cookies
This website does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Third-party services you actively use (for example the PayPal checkout) may set their own cookies within their own infrastructure.
4. Analytics
No third-party analytics or advertising tracking is integrated into this website. If analytics is added in the future, this section will be updated before it goes live.
5. Game & Leaderboard Data
To operate the squad leaderboard, server mods provide event timestamps, event categories, group information and pseudonymous Steam64 IDs. Uploaded raw logs and coordinates are parsed in memory and are not published. The public leaderboard shows delayed group totals only; it does not expose Steam64 IDs, player names, keyroom names or raid locations. Internal event and membership records are retained until the leaderboard is reset or they are no longer needed to operate and verify the current rankings.
6. Discord Links & Integration
Links on this website point to our Discord server (https://discord.gg/eMTYcU4DyE). When you follow such a link, your data is processed by Discord under Discord's own privacy terms. Support tickets, reports and appeals you submit there are stored on Discord. Delayed aggregate squad rankings may also be published to an official Project Blackout Discord channel.
7. PayPal
Donations are processed exclusively through PayPal. PayPal processes payment data through its own infrastructure. This website does not store credit card information. In addition to this policy, PayPal's own privacy terms apply to payments.
8. Support Communication
When you contact us through a Discord ticket, the content of your message and any evidence you attach is processed to handle your request.
9. Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as it is required for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as a legal retention obligation applies.
10. User Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to request information about the data we process, and to request correction or deletion. Contact us using the details on the imprint page.
11. Contact
For privacy requests, use the contact details listed on the imprint page or open a Discord ticket.
